Entos Mourns the Loss of Board Member Naren Gupta

SAN DIEGO, CA – December 29, 2021 – Entos, Inc., its management team and its Board of Directors today, with great sadness, issued a statement in memoriam of Naren Gupta, a founding member of the Entos Board of Directors, who passed away on December 25, 2021:


“Naren served our Board with unwavering integrity and a deep passion for harnessing the power of technology for good,” said Tom Miller, Entos Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer. “As a founding Board member and one of the earliest investors in Entos through Nexus Ventures, Naren was a staunch proponent in – and advocate for – our mission to revolutionize drug discovery from the start. We will sorely miss his mentorship and friendship.”


Fred Manby, Entos Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, added, “The passing of Naren is an immeasurable loss for the Entos community, but we remain forever grateful for his guidance, friendship and dedication. Naren was a tremendous supporter and contributor to our company, providing wise words and gentle counsel backed by deep industry experience and intelligence. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to Naren’s family and friends during this time.”


Dr. Gupta’s deep technology expertise included over twenty years of early and early-growth stage investment experience in the U.S.and India, as well as advising CEOs and entrepreneurs worldwide. He was Co-Founder and Managing Director of Nexus Venture Partners, lead investor of the Entos seed round. Prior to founding Nexus Ventures, Dr. Gupta co-founded Integrated Systems Inc (ISI), a leading embedded software company, where he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer for fifteen years. Dr. Gupta is survived by his wife, Vinita, and daughters Anneka and Serena.
